My Experience: Why I Am Selecting Community College
A year ago, me where I would be attending college next year, I would have named three or four high-ranked options, most of which were far away from my high school if you had asked. A very important factor is without a doubt, I would personally not need said I’d be gonna community university. Used to do most of the things you are supposed to do I toured the schools on my list, got suggestions from teachers who liked me personally and switched most of my applications in very early. But my admissions story finished differently because I think it might be able to help other people who haven’t applied to college yet than I expected, and I’m sharing my story.
I had a 3.7 unweighted GPA and a 4.2 weighted when I applied to college. My SAT super score was a 1280. Year i had taken four AP classes and planned two more for my senior. I happened to be member of National Honor Society and Key Club, and ended up being the supervisor of my school’s team. I happened to be additionally active in operating 5Ks on the weekends.
I placed on college as an undecided major, and had four schools on my list: University of sc, Tulane, North Carolina State and Elon University.
We felt good about my list because my brother had similar stats to me and had put on these schools (plus two others) a couple of years ago and found myself in them all.
